Intuitive photography is all about tuning in, being present, and opening yourself up to the guidance and awareness that is all around. It's about using the medium of photography as a spiritual practice in addition to an artistic one. Image making becomes a way to get out of your head and into your soul. My own path to intuitive photography has taken years to develop, and is still evolving with each photo I take.
My photographic journey began as many do, just snapping images of things that interested me.  Over time, however, the process shifted into a more meditative, slower-paced approach. I began to notice things "calling" me during my photo walks, drawing my attention.
As I got better at tuning in to my surroundings, the photos I captured started revealing messages and meanings. It was as though there were stories and lessons imprinted onto the images, awaiting my awareness of them. That's what my approach is to intuitive photography...be open, pay attention, tune in. Let the universe bring forth what needs to be recognized and acknowledged. Quite often, there are profound understandings that come through the camera lens, which I have termed Notes on Light.
